This was easily HZK's best match of the tournament so far. Loved the callbacks.

This was a strong performance for Kagetsu, she gets the crowd into the match with her shenanigans. 1stRING was eating this up. The in-ring was solid and the story was very compelling.

Arisu Nanase vs. Natsumi Maki

This was a decent rookie struggle. There's only so much you can do in a 3-minute wrestling match, but I thought they put on a good showcase, and they have rivaling finishers that involve bridges. Nanase hits a double hand chest chop, which I found interesting. Maki's Swinging Neck Tree looked wicked.

1. Maki Ito vs. Rika Tatsumi

Lots of screaming in this. This was meant to be a showcase for Ito, but it felt like it went on forever. A good chunk of the action was aimless, and the match feels like it hit its peak long before it ends.

2. Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship: Maho Kurone (c) & Nonoko vs. Marika Kobashi & Miyu Yamashita

Marika wasn't a complete disaster here, it surprised me. Great things happened once Miyu got into the mix with her high-impact offense, especially during her segment with Nonoko. The closing segment with Maho was also super fun.

Another really awesome tag match. Yuu & Yuka were doing amazing things.

Very good match between these GPS girls. Konami was the aggressor, and Tam was selling those kicks. This had a feel of tension and urgency, and I was impressed with the raw emotion/conviction coming from Nakano.

Arisu Nanase vs. Kris Wolf

Kris Wolf puts the heat on, Arisu showed guts and rookie fire, the crowd was into it and really rallied behind her comebacks. I liked the way Arisu took Wolf's knees, fourth match in and she has a distinct selling style. Good amount of drama in this a six minute match.

5. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Championship Tournament - Round 1A: Ito Respect Army (Maki Ito & Mizuki) vs. Muscle Strikers (Reika Saiki & Miyu Yamashita)

This was one of those matches that is made 10x better due to crowd reaction, 1stRING is hanging on every movement, and the performers were playing to that with very dramatic moments. Mizuki & Ito deliver one of the best underdog performances I've seen this year, it was magnificent.
