ASUKA vs. Hana Kimura (WRESTLE-1, 9/2/2018)

WRESTLE-1 - Wrestling LOVE in Yokohama 2018 (9/2/2018)

ASUKA vs. Hana Kimura

Outside of WAVE is where ASUKA is at her most interesting since she shows personality, her heel work and the way she played to the crowd at the start gave the match depth. Hana returns from an excursion in Mexico with a couple of new techniques, including a very wacky submission hold.

Hana Kimura vs. Takako Inoue (WRESTLE-1, 7/2/2017)

WRESTLE-1 - ACE Vol. 6

Hana Kimura vs. Takako Inoue

I thought Takako did a good job leading the rookie, and her work on top was crisp. I liked the STF struggle. Hana also put on a strong showing   her front dropkicks and brainbuster were great as always, and I really enjoyed her selling (oversight to not have her take Takako's stun gun!).

Hana Kimura vs. Hiroyo Matsumoto (WRESTLE-1, 5/1/2017)

WRESTLE-1 - ACE Vol. 5 (5/1/2017)

Hana Kimura vs. Hiroyo Matsumoto

Hiroyo's opening control segment here wasn't engaging, and I thought Hana's elbow strikes looked weak, but she does bring the fire eventually, and the action starts to pick up. The exchanges towards the end were good.

Hana Kimura vs. Kagetsu (WRESTLE-1, 2/25/2017)

WRESTLE-1 - ACE Vol. 3 (2/25/2017)

Hana Kimura vs. Kagetsu

This is an exhibition that lasts 5 minutes. Hana wears one of her mother's old attires, which shows off her physique. She gets bumped around and worked over for a good portion of the match before making her comeback as the clock runs out. Kagetsu worked very fast-paced yet so graceful.
