Marika Kobashi vs. Yuka Sakazaki (Tokyo Joshi Pro, 7/9/2016)

Tokyo Joshi Pro - Kasukabe Love Rin (7/9/2016)

Tokyo Princess Cup 2016 - First Round: Marika Kobashi vs. Yuka Sakazaki

Solid stuff. Yuka dominates with oppressive matwork for the entire first half - it's an incredible, prolonged rookie punishment segment. If only the legwork had played a bigger role. Marika did fine, although she could have displayed more urgency. The finishing stretch was neat.

Tokyo Joshi Pro - Let's Go! Go! If You Go! When You Go! If You Get Lost Just Go to Yokohama! (3/10/2018)

2. Yuka Sakazaki vs. Nodoka-oneesan vs. Yuki Kamifuku

Eh, this match was alright, there were a couple of spots that I thought were exciting. I was ready to give this a DUD after the first half, but things picked up when Yuka started working her magic.

4. Yuu vs. Hyper Misao

Decent match with clever counterwork from Yuu. I feel a good main event could be built around Misao working the arm.

**1/2

5. NEO Biishiki-gun (Saki-sama & Azusa Christie) vs. Mizuki & Marika Kobashi

Great, action-packed tag match. Instead of opening with the usual NEO Biishiki-gun workover session, they're just going at it. Marika's in a feud with Biishiki-gun so things get heated when she was involved. As a long time Azusa fan, it's really great to see her picking up so many direct falls lately.

6. TOKYO Princess of Princess Championship: Miyu Yamashita (c) vs. Maho Kurone

Good main event. Maho made for an interesting challenger, she performed well, getting her character across effectively. The violent chair spots were awesome and a nice change of pace from what you normally see in TJPW main events. The overall match could've used something more, it never reached that higher level.

Danshoku Dino, HARASHIMA & Kota Ibushi vs. Jun Kasai, Minoru Suzuki & Sanshiro Takagi (DDT, 11/19/2014)

DDT - Wrestling Cannonball 2014 In Orufunato (11/19/2014)

Danshoku Dino, HARASHIMA & Kota Ibushi vs. Jun Kasai, Minoru Suzuki & Sanshiro Takagi

I expected more out of this considering how star-studded it is, but it was good. I don't know why you would have Jun Kasai here and not have him doing something involving weaponry or crazy bumps, but he had a decent exchange with Ibushi. Ibushi is enjoyable to watch even when he isn't really trying.

Stardom - Osaka Nighttime (2/24/2018)

3. Bea Priestley, Jenny Rose & Kaori Yoneyama vs. Queen's Quest (HZK, Io Shirai & Momo Watanabe)

Great trios match. Bea Priestley is probably the best gaijin in look and wrestling ability, she was doing wicked things throughout.

4. SHIMMER Championship: Nicole Savoy (c) vs. Jungle Kyona

I couldn't get through this. I don't know what type of wrestler Nicole Savoy is trying to be, but she is failing miserably at it. What a boring match.

6. Hiromi Mimura, Konami & Mayu Iwatani vs. Oedo Tai (Hana Kimura, Kagetsu & Sumire Natsu)

This was an enjoyable match, it's part of Hiromi's retirement road so she gets a lot of spotlight. I liked the control segments by Oedo Tai and the Mayu-Kagetsu stuff was great as always.

Kenny Omega & Yukihiro Abe vs. Gota Ihashi & Kota Ibushi (DDT, 1/24/2010)

DDT -「January Special」(1/24/2010)

Kenny Omega & Yukihiro Abe vs. Gota Ihashi & Kota Ibushi

This was loads of fun. The Golden Lovers don't want to fight each other, which created some interesting moments. Of course, they eventually have to and it's awesome when they do. Abe was a standout in this match, it's a shame that he never went anywhere and ended up in Ganpuro. Also, Gota!

Antonio Honda, HARASHIMA & Kota Ibushi vs. New Hazard (BxB Hulk, Cyber Kong & Shingo Takagi) (Dragon Gate/DDT, 4/6/2008)

Dragon Gate/DDT - DDG Returns (4/6/2008)

Antonio Honda, HARASHIMA & Kota Ibushi vs. New Hazard (BxB Hulk, Cyber Kong & Shingo Takagi)

What a match! All of the pairings were great, with BxB Hulk and Ibushi's segment being my favorite, and the finishing run was red-hot. Honda is the obvious fall guy, but he made one hell of a stand. There was a ton of energy in this match and Korakuen Hall was going nuts, loved it.

HARASHIMA vs. MIKAMI (DDT, 11/27/2007)

DDT - God Bless DDT 2007 (11/27/2007)

KO-D Openweight Championship: HARASHIMA (c) vs. MIKAMI

Great match, packed with action. MIKAMI threw caution to the wind with a senton off of the stage and a couple of crazy ladder spots. HARASHIMA's counter attacks were excellent, even better when the ladder was involved.
