Neko Nitta vs. Tsukasa Fujimoto (Ice Ribbon, 10/18/2015)

Ice Ribbon - #687 ~ Gifu Ribbon Neko Nitta's Last Arc (10/18/2015)

Neko Nitta vs. Tsukasa Fujimoto

Neko Nitta! This match was basically a showcase for her, she got a lot, including a spot where does a sidewalk slam onto the apron (!). Her hometown was loving her performance. Fujimoto's comeback seemed too sudden.

BASARA - Vajra 35 ~ Osaka Club Spring ~ (5/4/2017)

1. Heaven Summit Itadaki 2017 Block A: Takato Nakano vs. Yusuke Kubo

Man, when did Yusuke Kubo decide to become the most boring wrestler in the world?... His control segments were totally empty. I liked the ending; Nakano showed some fire, and then got brutalized.

*1/2

2. Ryota Nakatsu vs. Tatsuhiko Yoshino

Future ace Ryota Nakatsu gets his nipples twisted, his dick bitten, and then gets screwed over by a paid-off referee! What a burial!

3. Heaven Summit Itadaki 2017 Block A: Best Stretchman V3 vs. Ryuichi Sekine

Best Stretchman has not quite lived up to the hype.

4. Buffalo & Tsubasa vs. SAGAT & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi

6. Isami Kodaka vs. Naoki Tanizaki

This was worked differently than I would have expected (or hoped for) from these two... It was methodical, gradually building into the flashy exchanges that the fans wanted. When you have a Dragon Gate guy booked, you want to see that fucker just go 100 miles per hour with crazy junior action.. aw well. Good for what it was.

7. Heaven Summit Itadaki 2017 Block A: Takumi Tsukamoto vs. Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi

Wow... what was this? It was super slow and then suddenly ended just as things were getting good.

Gatoh Move - High School Graduation (3/28/2017)

1. Aoi Kizuki vs. Mitsuru Konno

This was a decent showing for Konno. She's new, so errors are to be expected. Aoi Kizuki is obviously a joshi puroresu artisan so there is a lot to be learned from grappling with her.

2. Emi Sakura W vs. Yako Fujigasaki

***

3. Hikaru Shida vs. SAKI

This was a match built up on who has the better brainbuster between these two via social media, so they're going back and forth with them.

4. Cho-un Shiryu & Antonio Honda vs. Rocky Kawamura & Sayaka Obihiro

5. Aasa Maika vs. Hiroyo Matsumoto

6. Asia Dream Tag Team Championship:「Kotori」& Riho (c) vs. Masahiro Takanashi & Emi Sakura

This is Chinese variety art in the form of a wrestling match, such a mesmerizing display of balance and timing, coupled with great storytelling.
