NEO Biishiki-gun (Saki-sama & Masa) vs. Aasa Maika & Riho (DDT, 8/4/2017)

DDT - Fighting Beer Garden 2017 ~Shuten-doji Day~ (8/4/2017)

NEO Biishiki-gun (Saki-sama & Masa) vs. Aasa Maika & Riho

I was excited when this was announced, but with it taking place at a Beer Garden show I was worried there would be too much comedy, or even drinking, and luckily none of that was here. Just a straight up wrestling match. Aasa takes a good beating and Paradise Lock (!!); she is just a wonderful FIP. Riho was the workhorse, and brought this match to the next level with her high-flying offense and set-ups. Biishiki-gun were compelling characters as always. Great match.

Tokyo Joshi Pro - At This Time, Get Excited in Shinjuku! (6/4/2017)

1. Nodoka-oneesan vs. Marika Kobashi

This was remarkably bad. A match worthy of a billion DUDs.

2. Maki Ito vs. Azusa Takigawa

no

3. Miyu Yamashita vs. Mizuki

*1/2

4. Yuna Manase vs. Nonoko

Dug the boinmaker sequence where Yuna hits a boinmaker of her own, and the angry Nononko boob-onslaught was awesome; Nonoko was hammering Yuna into her boobs, and Yuna was selling the destruction well. I'd like to see more of that from Nonoko.

4. No Countout Rules: Dragon Bombers (Rika Tatsumi & Maho Kurone) vs. SIN Biishiki-gun (Saki-sama & Masa)

5. Shoko Nakajima & Mil Clown vs. Yuu & Nodoka-oneesan

This a prelude to Yuu's defense against Mil Clown's relative Yuka Sakazaki. There were cute moments here where Yuu was confused by Mil Clown antics.

Yuu vs. Azusa Takigawa (Tokyo Joshi Pro, 4/8/2017)

Tokyo Joshi Pro - AT THIS TIME, GET EXCITED IN NARIMASU (4/8/2017)

TOKYO Princess of Princess Championship: Yuu (c) vs. Azusa Takigawa

The way Yuu man-handles her opponents and destroys their chests with chops is unsavory. Azusa performed well enough, her chest was starting to look nasty and she was still taking those chops until the end.

Tokyo Joshi Pro - AT THIS TIME, GET EXCITED IN NERIMA! (3/12/2017)

1. Mil Clown vs. Maho Kurone vs. Maki Ito

Ito played off of Mil Clown and Maho's characters well. Really fun match.

2. Nodoka-oneesan vs. Yuna Manase

This was a meh debut for Yuna Manase, to be honest, but I suppose it did its job in establishing her moveset and finisher. Nothing much going for it.

3. Miyu Yamashita & Shoko Nakajima vs. Bust Deluxe (Nonoko & Akane Miura)

Bust Deluxe reunited for one last time as part of Akane's graduation road. Akane did not wear her old gear. Some decent tag action, I liked the Miyu-Nonoko segment and Shoko was generally interesting.

4. SIN Biishiki-gun (Saki-sama & Masa) vs. Rika Tatsumi & Azusa Takigawa

Biishiki-gun is one of my favorite joshi puroresu acts going today. Takigawa is determined to pin Saki-sama after coming so close the last time they met, scoring near-falls, but ultimately falls short to the very hold that beat her before.

5. TOKYO Princess of Princess Championship: Yuu (c) vs. Reika Saiki

I liked when Reika started laying in those kicks in response to Yuu's stiffness. The judoka bear Yuu was on a different level with those throws and submissions, though. Yuu's last ride looked frightening.

Miyu Yamashita & Rika Tatsumi vs. SIN Biishiki-gun (Masa & Saki-sama) (Tokyo Joshi Pro, 1/21/2017)

Tokyo Joshi Pro - Girls Fight Out #1 (1/21/2017)

Miyu Yamashita & Rika Tatsumi vs. SIN Biishiki-gun (Masa & Saki-sama)

I didn't know what to expect from Masa's debut, but I ended up loving everything she did here. She's all gimmick, but she never overdid it and she compliments Saki's persona well. Yamashita and Saki traded gnarly kicks, and Rika hit her hip attacks and applied a wicked dragon sleeper on Saki.
