WAVE - Sunday WAVE vol.33 (10/22/2017)

1. Three on One Gauntlet: Ryo Mizunami vs. Arisa Nakajima, Miyuki Takase & Miki Tanaka

This opens with one hell of a clash between Mizunami and Nakajima. Miyuki was alright, interested in seeing how she develops. Tanaka might have had a breakout performance here, she got over with her comedy act. She tries to melt Mizunami's costume with an iron (!). Great way to start the show.

3. ASUKA & Hikaru Shida vs. Nagisa Nozaki & Yuki Miyazaki

4. Rina Yamashita & Boss to Mammy (Yumi Ohka &  Mio Momono) vs. Moeka Haruhi & NEW-TRA (Rin Kadokura & Takumi Iroha)

5. Regina di WAVE Championship: Misaki Ohata (c) vs. Hiroe Nagahama

I thought Ohata would pull something out of Nagahama, but that did not happen. Instead, she smothered Nagahama in an aggressive way, not allowing her to mount much offense. Nagahama's comebacks were weak -- she's still in the dropkick phase despite having wrestled for 3 years. Fortunately, she didn't get much. One thing I can credit Nagahama for is her flexibility; Ohata was really cranking back on those submission holds. This was high end junior punishment.

WAVE - Young OH! OH! Vol. 37 (10/3/2017)

1. Mabudachi❤Chu2byo卍卍 (Maruko Nagasaki & Mio Momono) vs. Satsuki Totoro & Yako Fujigasaki

Mabudachi is already one of my favorite tag teams on the scene, they were super fun to watch here, they're such sneaky little shits. Yako seems to have mastered the art of the hip attack. Totoro is starting to understand how to work with her body type, she looked impressive; cute too. Great opener.

2. Hiroe Nagahama & Miyuki Takase vs. Miki Tanaka & Natsumi Maki

This was alright. Tanaka and Takase had an interesting segment. I'm looking forward to seeing how those two grow.

3. Fairy Nipponbashi vs. Natsu Sumire

This was Sumire's second-to-last WAVE match (as a member of the roster, anyway), and it's against Fairy Nipponbashi, so you know what to expect. Just a fun comedy match between two friends.

4. Kaho Kobayashi & Rina Yamashita vs. NEW-TRA (Rin Kadokura & Takumi Iroha)

I expected something more from this match-up, so this was a bit of disappointment. The Iroha-Rina stuff in the closer was good, albeit sloppy.
